Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy something through one, MentorsCert may receive a commission from the seller. You pay exactly the same price either way; the commission comes out of the seller's margin, not your pocket.

How to spot one

Every affiliate link is labelled. On the discounts page, the offer card carries an Affiliate link marker. In article text, the disclosure appears before the link, not buried in a footer. Technically, affiliate links also carry rel="sponsored", which tells search engines the same thing.

The rules we hold ourselves to

  • A commission never changes the order offers are listed in. The discounts page is sorted by usefulness and expiry date, not by payout.
  • We list better non-affiliate offers alongside, and above, affiliate ones when they genuinely are better.
  • We do not recommend a course, book or exam we would not recommend without a commission.
  • If we have not verified that a code works, it does not go on the site. Each offer shows the date a human last checked it.

Why we do it at all

The discount page and the practice questions are free and require no account. Commissions and the paid tier pay for the hosting and the time spent maintaining them. The alternative would be advertising or selling your email address, and we would rather not do either.
